Aug.22nd, 2010 I had a small part in a film by Toronto Director, John Durno,shot here in the 17 foot studio sphere. working a long side the well known actor Robert Nolan, made it all the more fun. Using the green screen technique, we managed to complete the necessary takes with no troubles.The film is based on the story "Oydessy" by Homer, a greek writer.
The day started here with John ,Mike, and Robert arriving as scheduled on Sunday morning. We were all secretly excited about shooting in the spherical space that I had prepared during the past two weeks. After coffee we all knuckled down to prepare and soon the shoot was on with the green screen cloth in place . Although I had rehearsed quite a bit I still found it quite challenging...John's first thoughts about the sound were quite favourable..It was as expected quite an uplifting adventure, we finished up at the beach bar, enjoying barbequed beef burgers topped with ripe red tomatoes from my garden..That's how it went..

The first printing of my book is almost ready for second edit. The book now includes the chapters "The Golf Date" and my latest experience, "Xmas Plans". Im hoping to add a lot more interesting chapters, this winter. Im encouraged by the amount of interest people have shown, I do hope to be wrapping it all up by spring, being able to say FINIShED! At 350 pages, its a very good read already! I've included some pictures now as well, although black and white are quite interesting and effective.
I'm doing finishing touches and working on the continuity here Jan 2010.The talk around domecountry is who will play the lead parts in the coming film to be made from the book. Some of the suggestions we've received are viewable by clicking on the picture above!

New Domension Films is in production of a new film,"This is Punk Rock" .Originally shot in 1995 in VHS,by myself,Captain, this film has sat on the shelf long enough, its time has come!!
New Domension Films is working with internationally known writer from sunny california, Denise Shively , to bring this project into fruition for all to enjoy. It is hoped that it will be shown at the annual Wreck-Beach Film festival 2009 and later at the Toronto International Film Festival Needless to say we are totally excited about this film. Award winning filmmaker, Matthew Saliba, of Montreal Fame, was at Domecountry March 2oth-22nd conducting interviews to be used in the documentary film, being made for TV about Domecountry. Its rumoured that Captain himself was busy preparring, and serving, Domestyle pizzas for all who participated. Matthew was ready to rock using the latest HD camera,compliments of Peter Gugeler at Pipal Tree Productions. Matthew shot about 4 hours of film, a great start to this very interesting project. News today that a 48 minute documentary, about Domecountry, for TV is in the works. The award winning Director who has proposed the film endeavour, will be releasing more about the project as information becomes available. The documentary will be including ideas about the new age science of geodesics, wreck-beach film festival and other areas of public interest that domecountry is involved with including the release of my new book "Life of Brian" Release planned for this coming November.

October 18th, 2008 I had the opportunity to attend a fun event at the Royal Canadian Legion,1050 Weston rd.Toronto, where Justabunch of Guys put on a memorable show. The event was well attended with proceeds going to the Ontario Humane Society. The show had the boys doing all our favourite tunes from years gone by..I have made available here a wmv file of the band doing Rocky Mountain Way by Justa Buncha Guys Thanks to everyone who helped or attended Good Times!!
October, 9th, 2008 Innisbrook Staff Golf. The fall weather is the backdrop for an amazing day of fun on the golfcourse here.

March 21, 2008 Winter 2008 was quite memorable for all the snowfall, at the same time I kept busy with this short film Project titled "Friends at the Feeder" This delightful short film was quite enjoyable to shoot. The frosty cold weather of winter beckoned us, as we became inspired by these upbeat characters even in the most adverse weather.I hope you enjoy my endeavour, It's all ages
December 20th 2007 I've completed writing a book about my times here, in the Simcoe county area,mostly about living in Innisfil Twp./Town, studying the new science of geodesics. The local Mayor has said the Town of Innisfil needs "Branding" It's inspired me to release my book as a documentary film, this coming summer, in time for our film festival here the first weekend of Aug 2008. This exciting tale involves, dirty politics, crooked courthouses, a pot smoking mayor, a stupid farmer,a farmer;s daughter, big money land developers, and of course me, Captain. Preliminary Shooting has already started with our study shots mostly complete. Shooting is being schedueled for late spring.
