Dennis Logan, an award winning film-maker from Toronto, contacted Domecountry last year about using it as a location for a story he wrote. What he didn't let me know then was, I would have a major part in the film. The location shooting here is schedueled to take about ten days. Dennis was busy for over a year writing this feature film script based on a story about a Nobel prize winning scientist. I agreed to take on the role, and thankfully I did. Have a look at the trailer ,it is awesome I think you will agree after you download it nowits Kaboom! I felt quite at ease with Dennis Logan's directing, he really got the actors to perform. Working along side professionals like Shawn Jordan, Amanda Duncan, Bill Stepic was awesome!
Jeremy Shultz is looking after the motion cameras , using one Sony HDV hdr fx1 and one Canon XH A1. The sound is being recorded by Alex Stephens using a boom with audio Technica shot gun mic. We are lucky to have Jenn Vanassche skills with make up and effects.
Macbeth 3000 was Denis Logan's first feature film, he's come a long way since then. His easy going style, along with his persistance comes through in the way the talent present themselves and deliver their lines for the project. Filmmaking is definitely what Denis is all about, mark my words you will be hearing lots more about this wonderful multi talented Canadian.
