Its free submission for the 2005 festival ,you must remember films should be sent here on dvd or vcd in NTSC format and will not be returned, unless, a return stamped, self addressed envelope, is included with your entry. Films in languages other than english must have subtitles. Preference will be given to films in English. Please include a short bio and a story about the making of your film entry.Submissions should contain both an Entry Form,as well as a Release Form, available on our website if you wish to be considerred in any promotions.When submitting from another country,mark on the outside of the mailer," N C V" (no commercial value),for cultural purposes only,this will avoid any problems with Canada customs.You should also use a mailer thats on the small side to avoid extra mailing fees.Large envelopes cost double and sometimes triple to mail and they wont deliver them to the door ,we have to get them at the post office..so bear that in mind. Many filmakers ask about contacting the local media. Placing ads about your film In The Barrie Examiner,Or Barrie Advance ,makes a lot of sense . Deadline for submission is July first .
