Thursday August 4th , is family night :
Feature family films planning to be screened include,The Lady From Sockholm,,,Breakin Down The B Boys,,,Nathan,s Rebellion ,and ,Ghosts In The Corn.Filmaker Kevin Railsback,from Iowa USA,and Kathy Fitzgerald,of Boston,will both be here to present their films! Kevins film ,Ghosts in The Corn is an exciting environmental documentry ,Kathy is of course well known for her independent film "Nathans Rebellion",which was featured at Boston International Film Festival.Melanie Chung is a filmmaker from Markam Ontario ,Canada, she is presenting her short documentry ,"Breakin Down The B Boys", showing along with these, are two short films Jack Quack,from new yorker AM Peters, and, a funny short by Steve Dunham called Search and Recover.The Lady from Sockholm ,is a fantastic feature film sent in from Atlanta Georgia,USA by Lynn Lamousin .Lynn tells us that over a 100 pairs of socks were used in the making of her film!!These films are children safe and admission is free ..Its hoped locals will take advantage of this opportunity to witness independent film at its best !
Friday Night Aug.5th :
Line-up will include the art film Magnus Opus by Filmaker Andrika Lawren of Toronto and followed by Ring of The Bishop Submitted by Director Kathy Fitzgerald of Boston.The acclaimed Virginal Young Blondes , by New york Filmmaker, Mark L. Feinsod will start the evening and just before the Live band Morning After ,SkinHorse a film by Nick Goso of Patron Saint Pictures .What a night !!! Theres more ..Its now confirmed , Director Kirill Kripak is Premiering his latest feature Elise,Right after the band finishes ..Kripak is an up an coming Toronto director .His latest release is a nicely cut film showcasing his lead actress Sally Golan ,While reviewing the film for our festival my eyes couldnt leave the screen ,was it the dramma , the filming ?Its all of that an more ,dont miss Kripaks adaptation of Joshua Carneys screenplay "Elise" its quite well done and will certainly have you looking for his next release ! Now theres some entertainment !! Oh What a night!!

The famed independent filmaker from Cleveland USA,Johnny Wu, has submitted A Jokers Card, Thats a big bonus for all us Indie fans.
Montreal Filmaker S V Bell is presenting Purple Glow late Sat night ,an awesome sci fi ! Falling Apart , a great horror flick by Michael Tesh of Detroit,will be screened after that ..Mike is well known to indie filmakers and is expected to be here with his cinematograpgher,Joe Cwik!
